Group Personal Accident

This policy provides compensation to the insured’s employees if they suffer bodily injury solely and directly caused by accidental, violent, visible and external means.

This policy covers accidental death or disablement to the insured. Compensation will be payable to the insured or to his legal representative in accordance with the sum insured and scale of compensation agreed and specified in the policy schedule.

The age requirements for this policy are that the holder should be between 18 years and 65 years.

Student’s personal accident cover to individuals, schools and organized groups can also be arranged on very reasonable premium terms.

SUM INSURED

Depending on the person’s annual earnings together with all other benefits of the employee, the Company takes it into multiples or proportions of either 5 years or 8 years.

BENEFITS

• On death – Capital sum insured
• On permanent or total disablement
• Weekly benefits for temporary total disablement for a selected sum varying from Kshs 1,000/= per week to Kshs 2,500/= (limited to 104 weeks)
• Reimbursement of actual medical expenses subject to agreed limit but should not exceed Kshs 25,000/-
